Pineapple juice for anemia
Pineapple juice with parsley is great to fight anemia because salsa has iron and pineapple has vitamin C enhances iron absorption.
Ingredients
- 2 slices of pineapple
- 1 cup water
- a few leaves of parsley
Preparation
Beat the ingredients in a blender and drink immediately after its preparation. Pineapple can be replaced by orange or apple.
Orange juice, carrots and beets against anemia
The orange juice, carrots and beets is great to fight anemia because it is rich in iron.
Ingredients
- 150 grams of raw or cooked sugar beet (about 2 thick slices)
- 1 small raw carrot
- 2 oranges with enough juice
- molasses to sweeten to taste
Preparation
Pass the beets and carrots by centrifuge or food processor to remove the most of their juice. Then add the mixture to the pure juice of the orange and drink immediately afterwards, to make the most of its medicinal properties.
If you do not have these appliances, you can hit the juice in a blender without adding water and sifting it below.
Artemisia tea against anemia
The artemisia tea is an excellent home remedy for anemia because this herb contains vitamin C, which helps the body absorb and use better iron.
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon dried leaves of mugwort ( Artemisia vulgaris L. )
- 1 liter of water
Preparation
2 Place the ingredients in a saucepan and boil for 15 minutes, cover and let stand for 10 minutes. When warm strain and drink a cup of sage tea whenever you consume iron-rich foods of plant origin, such as beans, red or white meat.
Prune juice against anemia
The prune juice is also great to fight anemia because it is rich in vitamin C, and therefore enhances the absorption of iron from plant foods.

- 100 g of plum
- 600 ml water
Preparation
Add all ingredients in a blender and beat well. After sweeten the prune juice is ready to be drunk.
